Neuroscience of healing (1).png

This talk will cover a brief history of psychedelics, along with a broad overview of the various classifications of various compounds. We’ll discuss how psychedelics work in the brain and why they hold great therapeutic value--specifically in regard to anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, trauma and addiction. We'll touch on quality peer-reviewed research in order to gain a deeper understanding of the Default Mode Network, neuroplasticity, and the role of 5-HT2A serotonin receptors, along with the unique role of MDMA and why it has proven so effective for healing trauma. Join us for a Q & A following the presentation.
