Anne Hunter
Integration Facilitator
Anne Goodrich Hunter is an artist and art teacher who originally hails from Portland, Oregon. She served in the public school system for nearly 25 years and now uses her skills in the non-profit sector. She especially enjoys helping others investigate their identity through art making. Though her MFA is in ceramic sculpture her current art making practice is based in painting and explores feminine portraiture. She uses painting to anchor the healing work that she and others have done through plant medicine, IFS therapy, reiki and other healing modalities.
Beyond art, Anne is obsessed with her garden and feels a keen sense of stewardship towards her yard. Gardening is her way of being in relationship with the soil, the pollinators, mother nature and herself. Additionally, gardening feels like an act of resistance against consumerism, production culture and labor exploitation.
Anne moved to Reno in 2024 with her husband and several pets. In SPS she’s found a community of authentic people dedicated to making themselves and the world a better place. She believes that active integration is as important as the medicine itself. Her background as an artist, a meaning maker, has prepared her for psychedelic integration as she’s well versed in the language of symbols. She’s honored to serve as both a facilitator and a participant in integration circles.
